What makes you feel at home—in your spirit, your body, and the world around you?
Is it a sensory experience, or an emotional one? A physical exhale, or only a nostalgic sentiment?
Can one glance carry you there?
What if home wasn’t a place, but a feeling you could return to? And, how can conjure it—on demand? Sometimes I think home is less about where we are and more about the moments when we remember ourselves clearly. I’m not trying to create things that fix people or force an epiphany. My work is grounding. Steady. An offered moment to feel yourself be whole. A visual nudge back to the parts of you that are truly yours, even if they’ve gone forgotten. To return. I’m not interested in making physical products, even though that may be what I do.
I’ve been witness to numerous miraculous healings in my life—many, in fact, have been my own.
The Influence of Art
I’ve started calling my evolving art style Influencism—a name that reflects my interest in how art can shift the feeling of a space, not just visually but emotionally and energetically. It’s similar to how lighting a candle can soften a room or stir a memory. I’m drawn to the idea that a sculpture or painting could carry that same kind of presence—that it could change the room it’s in just by existing there.
To explore that, I’ve been working with narrative, flame, glass, mirrors, and found objects—materials that reflect, flicker, and move. These choices are intentional. I’m creating pieces that do more than sit still—they respond to light, invite attention, and sometimes even surprise you. In a world that’s always moving fast and craving attention, the works in my SAVED collection ask a different question: what if an artwork didn’t just catch your eye, but stayed with you? What if it changed how the space felt, even after you left the room?
