The Influence of Art
I’ve started calling my evolving art style Influencism. Currently, I am thinking about my evolving practice as a way of influencing how a space is felt, not just how it looks.
I’m interested in how art can project memory, emotion, and presence into an environment, shaping the atmosphere of a place over time. It feels similar to how light through a window or a familiar sound can shift your awareness of a room without demanding attention. I’m drawn to the idea that a painting, projection, or moving image can carry a quiet human presence—that it can subtly alter how we experience a space simply by existing within it, holding memory in place and allowing it to unfold.
